Un inédit de John Lennon, "Little Girl", dans le coffret réédition de "Rubber Soul" des Beatles

A force de gratter, on finit toujours par tomber sur quelque chose. Ça avait déjà été le cas pour Now and Then, il y a 3 ans, avec la voix de John Lennon retrouvée presque par hasard comme on trouve de vieilles photos dans un grenier.

Dépoussiéré par la technologie de pointe, Now and Then a pu prétendre au titre d’inédit, même si le titre avait été écrit par John Lennon en 1977 bien après la séparation des Beatles. Ici, pas d’ambiguïté possible puisqu’il s’agit de Little Girl, un titre composé par Lennon en 1965.

Une chanson qui totalement passée sous les radars de tous les acteurs du monde musical y compris des collectionneurs traquant le moindre inédit et pour cause : il était jalousement gardé au plus profond des archives de la famille Lennon pendant six décennies.

Little Girl sera disponible à la faveur de la sortie d’un coffret célébrant le 60e anniversaire de la sortie de l’album culte Rubber Soul, considéré comme l’amorce du changement majeur dans l’histoire des Beatles.

Little Girl sera forcément un argument de plus pour acquérir ce coffret - comprenant 5 vinyles (ou 4 CD) accompagné d’un livre de 88 pages - le 2 octobre.
